Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve backend systems that power accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and treasury automation.
- Design and enforce permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability across hosted and self-hosted deployments.
- Build and manage deployment architectures using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) for reliable releases.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and security; implement monitoring and alerting for production environments.
- Partner with product and frontend teams to ship features while preserving data integrity and audit requirements.
Requirements:
- 1–6 years of backend development experience in production systems.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and NestJS for building backend services.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma in production environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or Pulumi) and deployment practices.
- Comfortable in an early-stage, high-ownership environment and focused on reliability, security, and observability; must be able to work on-site in Berlin.
