Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend systems and APIs (Node.js) that power an enterprise AI SaaS platform.
- Own end-to-end features: backend, database schema, queries, and frontend integration (React/Next.js).
- Model and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries for scalability and performance.
- Integrate third-party services and AI providers; implement reliable, secure endpoints.
- Collaborate on technical architecture and system design; maintain code quality and performance.
- Participate in customer-facing support rotations to triage and resolve production issues.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-stack web development experience with Node.js, React/Next.js and TypeScript.
- Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills: data modelling, query optimisation and schema design.
- Experience using Tailwind CSS for frontend implementation and a track record of shipping end-to-end features.
- Familiarity integrating AI/ML services or building AI-powered features.
- Solid CS fundamentals, system design sense, and clear communication with product and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to join regular support rotations; able to work on-site in Berlin.
