Responsibilities:
- Own and build core backend infrastructure powering fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation and treasury automation.
- Design deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments and implement via IaC tooling.
- Ensure permissions, auditability, traceability and observability are integral to system design and deployments.
- Improve production reliability, performance and security; collaborate with product to ship features without compromising standards.
- Promote AI-native development practices for rapid, high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- 1–6 years of backend development experience with strong TypeScript and NestJS skills.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or Pulumi) and deployment architecture design.
- Experience improving system reliability, security and observability in production systems.
- Comfortable in an early-stage, high-ownership environment and available for on-site work in Berlin.
