Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test and deploy backend microservices (Kotlin/Spring Boot) that support customer risk and identity lifecycles.
- Maintain and improve production systems: troubleshooting, incident response, performance tuning and operational stability.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to define APIs, data models and integration points with other services and ops teams.
- Ensure code quality through unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and clear technical documentation.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Build secure and auditable solutions that satisfy compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
- Practical experience building JVM-based backend services using Spring Boot in large-scale production environments; Kotlin experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture and service-to-service communication patterns.
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres preferred) and data modelling for analytics/transactions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and modern deployment/CI practices.
- Strong testing mindset, documentation skills and attention to security and operational robustness.
- Full professional proficiency in English, collaborative attitude, and willingness to both give and receive direct feedback.
