Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain backend microservices using JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable APIs and integrations that support customer identity, risk detection and support flows within Banking Foundations.
- Ensure production quality through automated tests, CI/CD, observability and incident response practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical design, share knowledge and drive consistent standards across services.
- Champion secure-by-design development: threat modeling, secure coding and appropriate access controls.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience developing production services with JVM languages and Spring Boot in microservice environments.
- Practical knowledge of relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases and cloud deployments (preferably AWS).
- Strong testing, deployment and observability skills; commitment to well-documented, well-tested code.
- Good communication in English and ability to work autonomously in a collaborative team.
- Product-minded, pragmatic, security-aware and motivated to continuously improve systems and processes.
