Responsibilities:
- Design, build and own platform solutions to increase security, reliability and scalability in the workload orchestration area.
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters and associated platform services.
- Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate needs into roadmap items and production-ready features.
- Lead incident handling, root-cause analysis and system hardening efforts.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to team learning and tooling improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven, production-grade experience with Kubernetes cluster design, deployment and operations.
- Strong AWS cloud skills and hands-on experience with core services.
- Good programming ability in Go and experience with Linux systems.
- Experience with Terraform and continuous delivery solutions (Argo or similar).
- Knowledge of service mesh/networking (Istio or equivalents) and monitoring/observability practices.
- Communicative, ownership-driven, proactive; backend development experience is beneficial.
