Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and scale backend systems for AI-native finance and ERP products.
- Develop performant Python services and clear, versioned APIs (FastAPI/Flask/Django preferred).
- Own end-to-end lifecycle: architecture, development, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
- Lead PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, indexing, and query performance tuning.
- Integrate external services robustly, handle edge cases, and ensure operational reliability and security.
- Work cross-functionally to translate accounting requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production-grade systems with complex business logic.
- Strong Python experience and familiarity with modern Python web frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, schema design, and data migrations.
- Experience with AWS (or equivalent), CI/CD tooling, observability, and production operations.
- Strong API/system design skills and experience with high-complexity domains.
- Excellent English communication, autonomy, and a high degree of ownership and problem-solving ability.
