Responsibilities:
- Own and execute delivery for a cross-functional engineering team on the banking & investment platform.
- Drive technical decisions for backend, cloud and event-driven architecture; ensure scalable, loosely-coupled services.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate business goals into prioritized roadmaps and clear deliverables.
- Recruit, mentor and coach engineers to build an autonomous, self-organized team culture.
- Maintain operational excellence: testing, monitoring, incident handling and performance tuning.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong backend development background (Java/Kotlin) with cloud and event-based architecture experience.
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems, RESTful API design and software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated leadership, hiring experience and a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
