Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the AI Engineering & AI Platform team to turn AI concepts into production systems.
- Guide architecture and implementation for LLM services, MCP server integrations, agentic workflows and backend APIs.
- Oversee infrastructure (AWS, Terraform), CI/CD, monitoring, security and cost-governance for AI workloads.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Data Science, Product, Security and Platform stakeholders.
- Promote engineering best practices: testing, observability, reliability, secure design and documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Substantial software engineering experience with Python and cloud-native systems (AWS); IaC experience with Terraform.
- Practical experience integrating LLM APIs and building production agentic workflows and CI/CD for AI services.
- Proven leadership, hiring and mentoring experience; ability to deliver production-grade systems with strong governance.
- Solid understanding of observability, privacy, security and cost-optimisation for AI platforms.
