Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow an engineering team building Scalable’s vertically integrated investment and banking platform.
- Coach engineers, drive career development, and foster an autonomous, agile team culture.
- Provide technical guidance on backend design (Java/Kotlin), distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product and design to prioritize features, plan sprints, and deliver business goals.
- Ensure software quality, scalability, and reliability through best practices and technical reviews.
- Participate in hiring to attract and onboard skilled engineers.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on background as a backend developer (Java/Kotlin) with cloud and event-driven architecture experience.
- Strong understanding of distributed architectures, REST API design, and modern software development processes.
- Proven leadership skills, ownership mindset, and a passion for mentoring engineers.
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills; experience in finance/FinTech is a plus.
