Responsibilities:
- Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput Rust services that process time-sensitive financial data
- Implement robust, testable financial business logic with strict correctness and error-handling guarantees
- Build and maintain real-time streaming pipelines, event processing and feedback loops
- Profile and benchmark CPU, memory and network to identify and fix performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate on API design, data models, system architecture and observability
- Ensure production reliability: testing, monitoring, incident readiness, and secure deployment workflows
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Strong Rust proficiency (ownership, lifetimes, async, concurrency, and error handling)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS and Terraform in production environments
- Proven background in low-latency or high-throughput systems and performance tuning
- Solid systems thinking around latency, throughput, backpressure and failure modes
- Experience with microservices, distributed architectures, API design and profiling/benchmarking tools
- Clear communicator who writes maintainable, well-tested code; finance or banking platform experience is a plus
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and AI-assisted coding tools is a benefit
