Engineering Manager - Golang [Risk] at Plata Card

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Risk Technology team across hiring, planning, task decomposition and process improvements.
- Own team execution and delivery: set priorities, track progress, and ensure alignment with risk and business objectives.
- Drive development and continuous improvement of risk scoring and decisioning capabilities and internal risk platform tools.
- Shape architecture and implementation of backend services in Go with emphasis on scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with risk analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate domain needs into engineering solutions.
- Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and improve team development processes (planning, retrospectives, CI/CD).

Requirements:
- 1+ years leading engineering teams (hiring, development, delivery management).
- 4+ years hands-on Go development experience and strong technical background to participate in architecture discussions.
- Proven experience improving development processes: planning, task decomposition, delivery predictability.
- Strong cross-team communication, stakeholder management, and diplomatic advocacy skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate in a fast-moving environment.
- English level B1 or higher for international communication.
