Product Manager - Anti Financial Crime (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Own the greenfield Anti Financial Crime (AFC) product: define functional scope, technical requirements and roadmap for an end-to-end AFC tooling platform.
- Lead a dedicated engineering team (primarily Data Engineers) and coordinate with AML/AFC Operations, security, legal and domain product teams.
- Translate regulatory requirements into implementable detection, alerting and case-management workflows; perform threat modeling and identify attack vectors.
- Design data ingestion, storage (data lake) and model pipelines for pattern detection and ML-based scoring; ensure performance and scalability.
- Define success metrics, prioritize features, manage releases and ensure operational readiness (observability, alerting, testing).
- Drive automation of manual workflows to reduce operational risk and false positives while preserving auditability and explainability.

Requirements:
- Proven product management experience in fintech, banking or regtech with responsibility for compliance or security-related products.
- Strong technical literacy with data engineering, analytics, ML/ pattern-detection concepts and system architecture.
- Practical knowledge of AML/AFC processes, regulatory expectations and risk-based controls.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders across engineering, operations and compliance.
- Strong prioritization, communication and documentation skills; ability to convert regulatory needs into technical specs.
- Track record of delivering production-grade platforms with attention to observability, testing and operational workflows.
