Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM capabilities integrated into customer-facing products and internal workflows.
- Build backend systems, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure that expose AI features to users.
- Implement RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic systems, and tool-calling patterns for production use.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate; convert successful experiments into robust, maintainable systems.
- Define reusable components, abstractions, and architecture patterns to support long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Establish evaluation methods, observability, monitoring, and feedback loops to assess model and system performance.
- Monitor and optimize for quality, latency, reliability, scalability, and inference cost; resolve production issues using telemetry.
- Collaborate with Product, ML, and Engineering on architecture decisions and trade-offs.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience delivering LLM-powered features or applications to production.
- Strong familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic systems, LLM APIs, orchestration, and tool calling.
- Solid software engineering skills (Python/Node.js), API design, system architecture, and cloud/container experience (AWS, Docker).
- Understanding of production LLM concerns: evaluation, failure modes, observability, latency, reliability, and cost trade-offs.
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry analysis, and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Product-focused, collaborative, and able to balance prototyping speed with long-term sustainability.
