Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, deploy, and maintain production-grade LLM capabilities integrated into customer-facing products and internal workflows.
- Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and necessary infrastructure to connect AI capabilities with product features.
- Implement production patterns: RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents, and tool calling.
- Rapidly prototype ideas and convert successful experiments into robust, maintainable systems.
- Design reusable components and abstractions to improve velocity, consistency, and maintainability.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, observability, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI features.
- Monitor and optimize for quality, latency, reliability, scalability, and inference cost; troubleshoot incidents using telemetry.
- Collaborate closely with Product, ML, and Engineering to translate product needs into pragmatic AI solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features into production environments.
- Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic systems, LLM APIs, orchestration, and tool calling.
- Strong software engineering background with backend proficiency (Python or Node.js), API design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker).
- Familiarity with observability, evaluation, failure modes, latency trade-offs, and cost management for production LLMs.
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry analysis, and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
- Product-oriented mindset and strong collaboration/communication skills.
