Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain a secure, high-performance unified Edge platform for partner- and customer-facing traffic.
- Implement scalable backend services using JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) and relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring).
- Collaborate with Engineers, SREs, and platform stakeholders to ensure operational ownership, security, and clear governance.
- Improve platform observability, testing, and deployment workflows to make services production-ready and resilient.
- Contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions with pragmatic solutions that respect product constraints.
- Mentor team members, share knowledge, and promote software design best practices and code quality.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production-grade services and systems.
- Strong proficiency in JVM-based languages (Java or Kotlin) and backend frameworks (Spring preferred).
- Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, REST/gRPC APIs, and system architecture patterns.
- Practical experience with AWS, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps/SRE principles.
- Commitment to automated testing, documentation, observability, and security best practices.
- Nice to have: Golang or Python experience, Kubernetes deployment experience, and familiarity with AI-related AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock) or prior AI/ML platform exposure.
