Responsibilities:
- Operate and evolve the Data Applications Platform: Airflow, QuickSight, Data Export API and CubeJS.
- Design and deliver APIs and platform services with a focus on performance, reliability and developer experience.
- Build serverless and containerized solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, EKS, S3).
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu or CDK) and CI/CD best practices.
- Implement observability, monitoring and incident response processes for production systems.
- Collaborate with domain teams to enable self-service analytics and provide mentoring and technical guidance.
Requirements:
- Strong Python skills; Golang experience is advantageous.
- Practical experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu or CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Airflow or comparable orchestration frameworks and production operations.
- Understanding of monitoring, alerting, scalability and secure API design.
- Excellent communication, a platform-first mindset and willingness to support and train other teams.
