Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the AWS-based data processing solution, including ingestion, storage and transformation layers.
- Build resilient data pipelines and automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK).
- Integrate and extend the lakehouse to meet analytics and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Create, validate and maintain data models for reporting, advanced analytics and AI use cases.
- Implement monitoring, testing and alerting to ensure pipeline correctness and operational stability.
- Work closely with analytics, engineering and product teams to prioritize and deliver data products.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant hands-on experience in data engineering and operating production pipelines in AWS.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and experience with PySpark or Spark-based processing.
- Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration), Terraform, IAM and VPC/networking concepts.
- Familiarity with streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis) and data modeling frameworks such as dbt.
- Team-player with strong communication skills and a drive to adopt and share modern data engineering practices.
