Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a cross-functional team focused on scaling the broker product and delivering customer-facing features.
- Implement backend services and GraphQL APIs with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot.
- Package and run services in containers, manage deployments via CI/CD, and operate on AWS using Terraform.
- Improve system reliability, observability, and performance in a distributed microservices landscape.
- Work closely with product, QA and operations to ship secure and GDPR-compliant solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Docker, AWS and Terraform.
- Practical knowledge of microservices, domain-driven design and distributed architectures.
- Experience or awareness of GDPR and security best practices preferred.
- Excellent analytical thinking and clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Commitment to testable, documented code and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automation).
