Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain frontend components for Scalable’s agentic product suite (agent chat, MCP, CLI integrations).
- Implement robust React/TypeScript UIs with Next.js and Apollo GraphQL, focusing on performance and developer ergonomics.
- Integrate AI/LLM services into the UI, manage conversational state, streaming responses and user flows.
- Shape architecture decisions, developer tooling, CI/CD and automated testing to support fast, safe releases.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, AI and data science teams to prioritise features and resolve trade-offs.
- Advocate for security, accessibility and maintainable code across the frontend stack.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in complex frontend projects with end-to-end ownership; strong TypeScript and React skills.
- Practical knowledge of Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo) and frontend build pipelines (Webpack, CI/CD).
- Experience or strong interest in LLM-driven interfaces, agentic systems and chat UX patterns.
- Good engineering discipline: testing, documentation, performance tuning and security-first mindset.
- Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience and strong cross-team communication skills.
- Experience with AWS and Docker is beneficial.
