Responsibilities:
- Design and implement frontend features for Scalable’s agentic experience (CLI, MCP server integration, unified chat).
- Build performant, accessible React/TypeScript UIs using Next.js/Apollo GraphQL and modern tooling.
- Integrate LLMs and AI services into frontend flows; handle streaming, state and conversational UX patterns.
- Contribute to architecture, developer tooling, CI/CD and test automation to maintain high delivery standards.
- Lead technical discussions with product, AI, data science and engineering to shape product direction.
- Ensure security, observability and maintainability of frontend systems; write clear documentation and tests.
Requirements:
- Strong production experience with TypeScript and React (Next.js) in complex web applications.
- Solid understanding of GraphQL (Apollo) and frontend build/deployment pipelines (Webpack, CI/CD).
- Experience designing chat/agent interfaces or integrating LLMs and AI-driven features is highly desirable.
- Good software engineering practices: testing, performance optimisation, security, and clear documentation.
- Degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering; excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and container tooling (Docker) is a plus.
