Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale backend platforms for complex finance and ERP workflows.
- Create reliable APIs, asynchronous jobs, and service integrations in Python.
- Own architecture, implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring for your services.
- Lead PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, query optimization, and capacity planning.
- Integrate and validate third-party systems while managing failure modes and data integrity.
- Translate product and accounting requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
- Drive improvements in reliability, performance, and operational tooling.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
- Strong cloud experience (AWS or equivalent) and solid CI/CD/DevOps knowledge.
- Deep expertise with PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, schema design and migrations.
- Experience designing scalable APIs and resilient backend architectures.
- Comfortable with monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning in production.
- Proficient in Python; experience with FastAPI/Flask/Django is a plus.
- Strong ownership, effective communication in English, and ability to work in fast-paced teams.
