Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture, development, deployment and maintenance of developer platform and AI tooling.
- Lead and decompose multi-quarter technical projects into milestones and deliverables.
- Build and run systems for CI/CD, testing infrastructure, observability, engineering metrics, and code-quality automation.
- Promote and integrate AI-assisted development workflows to improve developer productivity.
- Define scalable technical solutions and anticipate longer-term platform needs.
- Work with engineering leadership to shape roadmap, technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Mentor teammates through reviews, design sessions and direct coaching.
- Maintain system health: monitoring, incident response, iterative improvements and deprecation.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and user-friendly integrations with external APIs and SaaS tools.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2–3+ years at Senior or Staff level.
- Proven hands-on experience with developer platforms, CI/CD, observability/metrics, testing infra or similar engineering systems.
- Demonstrated impact delivering tooling or infrastructure that improves developer efficiency or delivery outcomes.
- Strong backend and systems design skills: APIs, scalability, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience with SaaS integrations, security practices, and operational responsibilities.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and mentorship skills; comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives.
