Responsibilities:
- Own architecture, implementation, deployment, and long-term evolution of developer platform and AI tooling capabilities.
- Lead multi-quarter projects: define milestones, deliver iterative measurable improvements, and manage technical risk.
- Build and operate systems for developer productivity, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, code quality automation, observability, and engineering metrics.
- Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve developer velocity and quality.
- Define technical direction and scalable solutions; anticipate future needs and platform constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on roadmap, technical strategy, and prioritization.
- Mentor and coach engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Own operational health: monitor, incident-manage, iterate, and deprecate systems based on data.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable integrations with third-party APIs and SaaS products.
Requirements:
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience, with 2–3+ years at Senior or Staff level.
- Strong hands-on experience building and operating developer platforms, tooling, CI/CD systems, observability/metrics, code-quality automation, or testing infrastructure.
- Demonstrated impact delivering infrastructure or tooling that measurably improves developer productivity, reliability, or delivery speed.
- Deep backend and system design skills, plus experience integrating APIs and SaaS solutions.
- Experience with monitoring, metrics, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations.
- Proven technical leadership, mentoring ability, and clear communication across teams.
- Emphasis on secure, maintainable, and developer-friendly solutions.
