Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture, implementation, deployment and lifecycle of developer platform and AI tooling capabilities.
- Plan and execute multi-quarter projects with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Build and operate systems for CI/CD, testing, observability, engineering metrics, and code-quality automation.
- Champion adoption of AI-powered developer features and integrate them into standard workflows.
- Set technical direction: design for scalability, reliability, maintainability and security.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to influence roadmap and technical strategy.
- Mentor and upskill engineers through code reviews, design sessions and hands-on guidance.
- Maintain operational excellence: monitoring, incident management, iterative improvement, and deprecation plans.
- Ensure robust, secure, and developer-friendly integrations with external APIs and SaaS.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2–3+ years at Senior or Staff level.
- Extensive hands-on experience building and operating developer platforms, CI/CD, observability, testing infra or similar systems.
- Track record of shipping tooling or infrastructure that measurably improves developer productivity or delivery velocity.
- Strong backend engineering skills: APIs, scalable architectures, deployment and monitoring practices.
- Experience with third-party integrations, security best practices, and operational ownership.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work autonomously and across teams.
