Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic implementation and integration of the next-generation Core Banking engine into N26’s global architecture.
- Own the end-to-end platform roadmap: define vision, prioritize capabilities and drive scalability, resilience and automation for Treasury, Ops and Finance flows.
- Translate complex banking domains (ledgers, compliance, reconciliation) into scalable product requirements and APIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, legal, compliance, local markets) and manage launch readiness and risk mitigation.
- Evaluate build/buy/partner options and run vendor assessments, pilots and integration plans.
- Foster platform excellence through close collaboration with architects, engineers and product teams to continuously improve operations and observability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years product management experience in fintech, retail banking or core banking software.
- Strong architectural literacy with ledger systems, API-driven design and banking/payments infrastructure knowledge.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex, regulated product rollouts and cross-functional dependencies.
- High AI/tool literacy and comfort leveraging AI to streamline product discovery and documentation.
- University degree in STEM, Business or Economics; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent prioritization, stakeholder management and execution skills.
