Responsibilities:
- Design, build and operate scalable, secure database and data storage infrastructure for the Data Storage Team.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud best practices to improve reliability and deployment speed.
- Maintain and enhance observability (metrics, logs, traces) to meet SLOs and support incident response.
- Collaborate with product teams for automated provisioning and efficient operational workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting, post-incident reviews, and roadmap delivery.

Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with AWS and operational data storage systems (PostgreSQL, RDS, S3 or similar).
- Proficiency with container tech (Docker), Kubernetes/EKS and IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Experience with at least one scripting/programming language (Python preferred) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with networking, cloud security practices and observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Nice-to-have: database internals, HA architectures (replication/failover), sharding, and backend engineering experience.
