Responsibilities:
- Design and implement latency-sensitive Rust services that process high-frequency financial data.
- Build and maintain real-time streaming pipelines, event processing, and feedback loops.
- Implement robust, testable financial logic with strong correctness guarantees.
- Profile and optimize CPU, memory, and network usage; run benchmarks and load tests.
- Ensure high observability: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for critical services.
- Collaborate with product, architects, and other engineers on API design and data models.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or comparable qualification.
- Strong Rust expertise (ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, error handling).
- Proven experience with Docker, AWS, and Terraform in production environments.
- Hands-on experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems and streaming pipelines.
- Solid systems thinking: latency, throughput, backpressure, failure modes, and trade-offs.
- Strong testing culture: unit, integration, property tests, and reproducible benchmarking.
- Clear communicator, team player, and familiarity with domain-driven/distributed architectures.
- Bonus: experience with performance profiling tools and AI-assisted coding tools.
