Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain company-wide application frameworks and starter kits (Spring Boot, Node.js, Python Lambdas).
- Define and implement best practices for security, testing, performance and cost across microservices.
- Create and maintain central libraries and infrastructure integrations used by 40+ teams.
- Drive migrations and upgrades; lead cross-team initiatives to standardize architecture decisions.
- Improve developer productivity with templates like "Service in a day" and tooling for CI/CD and observability.
- Research and apply serverless and performance improvements; own long-term architectural direction.
- Coach and support teams on framework adoption and vulnerability remediation.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot in production microservices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and Terraform-based IaC patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD, distributed systems, messaging (Kafka/SNS/SQS) and API design.
- Demonstrated ability to design developer-facing libraries, templates and migration plans.
- Practical understanding of security, scalability and observability concerns for large fleets of services.
- Fluent in English and experienced working with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
