Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy and operate secure multi-account AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
- Ensure high-availability connectivity for critical financial services and partner integrations (Direct Connect, VPN).
- Build and maintain Terraform modules and IaC pipelines for network automation.
- Create automation and tooling using Python or Go to reduce manual intervention and speed incident response.
- Maintain DNS, edge and load-balancing configurations (Route 53, CloudFront, ELB) and security controls (WAF, Network Firewall).
- Provide expert troubleshooting, runbook creation and on-call support for network incidents.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to embed networking best practices and observability.
Requirements:
- Several years of hands-on experience with AWS networking services: EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB.
- Strong Terraform skills and experience building reusable network modules.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation with Python or Go.
- Knowledge of VPNs, Direct Connect, BGP/IP routing and network security patterns.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management for cloud networks.
- Clear communicator able to support and mentor engineering teams; English fluency.
