Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale backend systems that support real-time, business-critical finance and ERP workflows.
- Develop high-performance Python services and well-documented APIs (FastAPI/Flask/Django preferred).
- Own end-to-end lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Lead PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, optimization, and data integrity practices.
- Integrate third-party services, handle edge cases, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to turn accounting requirements into robust implementations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable production systems with complex business logic.
- Strong Python skills; experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django is advantageous.
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, schema design, and data migrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent), CI/CD, and production operations.
- Demonstrated system and API design capabilities for high-throughput services.
- Excellent English communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High ownership, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to operational excellence.
