Responsibilities:
- Build and ship production-grade ML and data systems end-to-end: ingest messy raw data, model, validate, and deploy live outputs.
- Use agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) daily to accelerate development and delivery.
- Work across modelling, engineering, and product in a zero-to-one environment; own broad scope and shifting priorities.
- Deliver forecasting, optimisation, and other quantitative solutions that directly impact supply-chain and retail outcomes.
- Operate with high autonomy and ownership; prioritize, iterate quickly, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- Quantitative degree, Mathematics PhD, or equivalent rigorous background from a top-tier programme.
- 5+ years relevant technical experience (or exceptional early-career signal in lieu of tenure).
- Daily, hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools is mandatory.
- Proven track record as an early startup hire or in ambiguous, high-intensity environments.
- Strong engineering/ML engineering capability (production ML, software engineering, or founding engineer experience).
- High output, resilience under pressure, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
