About the role
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of product features across frontend (Next.js + TypeScript), backend (Node.js) and database layers (Postgres, Redis).
- Implement user-facing screens, reusable components and complete user flows using Tailwind CSS and design guidance.
- Design technical solutions, write tests, optimise performance and maintain a healthy, scalable codebase.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and customers to gather feedback and iterate quickly on features.
- Deploy and operate features in production, including monitoring, debugging and performance tuning.
- Participate in rotating Support Engineer shifts to directly assist customers and the support team.
- Contribute to product direction, tech decisions and documentation in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack product features end-to-end.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js and Node.js, and practical experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Prisma, tRPC and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience or strong interest in integrating AI-powered features into products.
- Solid CS fundamentals; degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background preferred.
- Professional German proficiency preferred (exceptional candidates without it may be considered).
- Comfortable working on-site in Berlin in a fast-paced, collaborative startup setting.
Responsibilities
You will build end-to-end AI-powered product features by managing the full stack from frontend to database layers. Additionally, you will collaborate with design and product teams while participating in rotating support shifts to assist customers directly.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js. A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, and professional German proficiency is preferred.
