Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a cross-platform native mobile engineering team (Android and iOS) to deliver high-quality mobile products.
- Set and track team OKRs; plan and prioritise work with Product to meet business objectives.
- Guide technical strategy and architectural decisions for mobile apps with a focus on performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Drive hiring, onboarding and career development; create an inclusive environment that attracts top talent.
- Facilitate stakeholder management across feature teams to ensure coordinated delivery and continuous platform improvement.
- Promote engineering best practices, testing, observability and efficient release processes.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong background in native mobile development: Android (Kotlin, Coroutines, Compose, RxJava) and/or iOS (Swift, UIKit, Autolayout).
- Proven experience as an engineering manager leading teams that delivered complex mobile applications.
- Experience hiring and nurturing diverse engineering teams and handling stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, prioritisation and problem-solving skills; comfortable operating in an agile environment.
