Responsibilities:
- Join a cross-functional team to design, build and operate Trading Platform services covering order intake, validation, execution and post-trade flows.
- Implement resilient backend systems using Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot within a distributed, event-driven environment.
- Translate complex trading processes into robust domain models and public/internal APIs in collaboration with product, ops and risk.
- Build and maintain integrations to internal platforms and external trading venues; ensure timely, correct processing of market and order data.
- Take ownership across the delivery lifecycle: architecture, code quality, testing, deployment, monitoring and incident management.
- Drive improvements for reliability, automation, observability, security and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience building production backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of distributed, event-driven systems and domain-driven design.
- Experience with databases (Postgres/MySQL/DynamoDB), AWS, containerisation (Docker) and infra-as-code (Terraform).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring/observability tools and high-throughput / low-latency system design.
- Good communication skills and experience working in agile, autonomous teams with production ownership.
