Responsibilities:
- Contribute to development and evolution of business‑critical services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement and maintain APIs, database interactions and automated tests to deliver resilient financial workflows.
- Build and operate cloud‑native services on AWS (containerised services, event-driven workloads) and support deployments.
- Work with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability and monitoring to ensure reliable delivery and operations.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies and apply Domain‑Driven Design and agile practices under mentorship.
- Write clean, secure, well‑tested and maintainable code and iterate with regular team feedback.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Practical experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot (internships, projects or working‑student roles).
- Good understanding of object‑oriented programming, API development, relational databases and automated testing.
- Interest in Domain‑Driven Design and translating business requirements into software models.
- Curiosity about cloud‑native development, distributed systems and AWS (ECS, Lambda) and CI/CD practices.
- Quality and security mindset with attention to maintainability and reliability; willingness to learn in a mentorship setting.
