Responsibilities:
- Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build and deployment (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Deploy and maintain multi-tenant platform instances across customer clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift).
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and drift management (Terraform, Bicep).
- Monitor performance, capacity, and cost; implement optimisations and alerts.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance standards are applied across environments.
- Collaborate with product engineers and customer IT teams to onboard features and troubleshoot incidents.
- Maintain deployment runbooks, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software/platform engineering experience with operational ownership of deployments.
- German proficiency (native or B2+) for customer-facing communication.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration on public clouds.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform (and/or Bicep) for IaC; experience with Azure Container Apps is useful.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis in production.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, observability and cost-management approaches.
- Strong debugging, automation-first mindset, and ability to work onsite in Berlin.
