Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot (v3+).
- Define and deliver REST APIs following an API-first/OpenAPI approach.
- Apply clean architecture and proven design patterns to keep systems maintainable.
- Improve database interactions and persistence with Hibernate/JPA and clear data models.
- Detect and address technical debt; propose pragmatic refactors and process improvements.
- Work closely with frontend and product teams to ensure consistent, well-documented APIs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience in Java with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, OpenAPI and API-first methodologies.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA, data modeling and optimizing persistence layers.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.
- Proactive, quality-focused approach and ability to contribute to architectural decisions.
