Responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain company-wide application templates and reference implementations (Spring Boot, Node.js, Python Lambdas).
- Design "Service in a day" starters and CI/CD pipelines so teams can ship quickly and consistently.
- Lead technology migrations and upgrades (e.g., Spring Boot), centralizing best practices for 40+ teams.
- Own and evolve core integration libraries, security defaults, and cross-team architectural components.
- Prototype serverless/storage improvements, optimize performance, cost and scalability on AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda).
- Promote developer productivity: tooling, AI-assisted workflows, observability and secure-by-default patterns.
Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot in production microservices.
- Strong AWS knowledge (ECS, Fargate, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform).
- Proven experience designing distributed, event-driven systems and CI/CD at scale.
- Familiarity with API patterns (GraphQL/REST), Envoy/API gateways, security practices and observability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience enabling multiple cross-functional teams.
