Responsibilities:
- Lead design and delivery of ready-to-use application templates and integration libraries for Spring Boot, Node.js and serverless functions.
- Create and maintain "Service in a day" reference implementations and standardized CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive platform-wide migrations, upgrades and best-practice adoption across 40+ application teams.
- Own central architectural components and ensure secure, performant, cost-efficient defaults.
- Research serverless/storage options and implement improvements to reduce operational overhead and run-costs.
- Support developer experience improvements, including AI-assisted coding tools and automation.
Requirements:
- Strong production experience (5+ years) with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot in microservice architectures.
- Proficiency with AWS services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda), Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven design, CI/CD and observability.
- Practical knowledge of APIs (GraphQL/REST), API gateways (Envoy) and security best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and proven experience collaborating across engineering teams.
