Responsibilities:
- Join a cross-functional team to design, implement and operate backend services for the Broker product using Kotlin/Java.
- Build high-performance APIs (GraphQL/REST), microservices and cloud-native components deployed via Docker and CI/CD.
- Participate in domain-driven design, test automation, and code reviews to ensure maintainable, well-architected code.
- Work with infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) to deploy scalable, secure services with attention to GDPR and security requirements.
- Collaborate with product, QA and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to incident response, monitoring and performance tuning for production systems.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field and 5+ years engineering experience.
- Strong practical experience with Kotlin and/or Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Docker and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, microservices and distributed architectures.
- Good understanding of GDPR, security best practices, and test automation.
- Strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and a passion for well-documented, testable code.
- Experience in financial services or neo-broker domains is a strong plus.
