Responsibilities:
- Build and lead an AI Engineering & AI Platform team to productionize AI use cases at scale.
- Provide technical direction for LLM integrations, backend systems, AWS/Terraform infra and CI/CD.
- Drive end‑to‑end delivery from ideation and scoping to rollout, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Shape platform capabilities: model access, MCP integrations, observability, governance, rate limiting and cost controls.
- Establish engineering best practices for reliable, secure, and production-grade AI systems and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Security and Platform teams; hire and mentor engineers.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven leadership in platform or backend engineering teams; experience with Python, AWS and Terraform.
- Hands-on familiarity with LLM APIs, agentic orchestration frameworks and CI/CD for AI systems.
- Strong knowledge of observability, governance, cost management and production reliability patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills; experience hiring and developing engineers.
