Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate secure authentication, identification (KYC), and GDPR-compliant data-processing services.
- Maintain and enhance Salesforce integrations to improve marketing and client support workflows.
- Build cloud-native microservices using Java/Kotlin and AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda); prioritise security and test automation.
- Deliver production-ready features: write clean, documented, testable code and improve engineering excellence across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify client journeys and ensure legal/compliance requirements are met.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive backend experience with Kotlin/Java, Spring, microservices, and cloud-native AWS deployments.
- Hands-on knowledge of containerisation (Docker), APIs (GraphQL/REST), SQL/NoSQL databases, JWT, and authentication flows.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, test automation, and observability.
- Analytical mindset, strong communication skills in English, and experience delivering customer-facing financial services.
