Responsibilities:
- Lead and empower an engineering team delivering a vertically integrated investment and banking platform.
- Coach and grow engineers; foster autonomy, career development and strong team practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to convert business goals into a prioritized roadmap and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud, event-driven architectures, REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Drive hiring, onboarding and continuous improvement of development processes and quality standards.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, security and observability of services in production.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
- Previous backend development experience (Java/Kotlin) and working knowledge of cloud/event-driven infrastructures.
- Solid understanding of distributed architectures, RESTful API design and software engineering best practices.
- Proven people management or technical leadership experience, including hiring and mentoring.
- Strong ownership, analytical thinking and communication skills to work with product and stakeholders.
