Responsibilities:
- Design and implement latency-sensitive Rust services that process time‑sensitive financial data.
- Implement robust, testable financial logic with strong correctness guarantees and automated tests.
- Build and maintain real‑time streaming pipelines and event processing (ingest → process → feedback loops).
- Profile, benchmark, and optimize CPU, memory, and network performance; reduce tail latency and backpressure.
- Collaborate on API design, data models, deployment, and observability (metrics, tracing, alerts).
- Participate in code reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement of CI/CD and infra.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Rust expertise (ownership, lifetimes, async, concurrency, error handling).
- Production experience with Docker, AWS, Terraform and microservices architectures.
- Proven background in low‑latency / high‑throughput systems and performance tuning.
- Solid systems thinking: backpressure, failure modes, consistency and testing strategies.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, ops and risk teams.
- Experience with profiling/benchmarking tools and observability stacks; AI-assisted coding tools are a plus.
