Responsibilities:
- Architect and build high-performance Rust services for time-sensitive financial workflows.
- Implement and validate financial logic with automated tests and strong correctness checks.
- Create and operate streaming/event pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing.
- Profile, benchmark and optimize resource usage across CPU, memory and network.
- Define APIs and data models in collaboration with product and other teams.
- Improve observability: instrument latency/throughput metrics, traces and alerts.
- Contribute to production practices: CI/CD, deployment automation and runbooks.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Rust skills (ownership model, lifetimes, async, concurrency, error patterns).
- Production experience with Docker, AWS and Terraform.
- Demonstrated experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems and streaming architectures.
- Solid systems thinking about backpressure, failure modes and operational trade-offs.
- Experience with profiling, benchmarking and performance tuning in production.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; testable, documented code is expected.
