Responsibilities:
- Design and implement low‑latency, high‑throughput Rust services that process time‑sensitive financial data.
- Build robust, testable financial logic with strict correctness and observability guarantees.
- Implement and maintain real‑time streaming pipelines (ingest, event processing, feedback loops).
- Profile, benchmark and optimize CPU, memory and network performance; address backpressure and failure modes.
- Collaborate on API design, data models and system architecture with product and engineering teams.
- Produce well‑documented, tested code and contribute to operational runbooks and monitoring.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS/engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive production experience with Rust (ownership, lifetimes, async, concurrency, error handling).
- Experience with Docker, AWS and Terraform in production environments.
- Strong systems thinking: latency, throughput, backpressure and failure handling.
- Proven experience with profiling, benchmarking and optimizing low‑latency systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on testability, observability and reliability; fintech experience is a plus.
