Responsibilities:
- Lead technical initiatives to improve product quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Partner with Product to influence roadmap and ensure user-centered engineering decisions.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and to specification.
- Work with architects to design solutions for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Own engineering decisions for larger features and contribute to improving delivery processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience (ideally PHP/Symfony).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MariaDB/PostgreSQL) and scalable application design.
- Experience with backend infrastructure and tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, queues, caching, search) is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment and mentor others.
- Fluency in English for effective cross-team communication.
