Responsibilities:
- Design and operate scalable, fault-tolerant systems across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Build and maintain observability: monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Run and improve CI/CD pipelines to speed deployments while preserving stability.
- Implement load balancing, failover and disaster-recovery strategies to ensure high availability.
- Triage incidents, perform RCA, implement preventative measures and participate in on-call rotations.
- Optimize cloud cost and resource utilization through right-sizing and automation.
- Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes; manage Helm charts.
Requirements:
- ~4+ years in SRE, DevOps or systems engineering roles with production reliability focus.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Hands-on with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and alerting strategy.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Solid Linux administration, networking fundamentals and incident-management experience.
- Scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Bash) for automation and runbook development.
