Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end product features from concept to production across backend and frontend.
- Build and maintain AI capabilities: LLM pipelines, prompt engineering, agent architectures, and model integrations (OpenAI and others).
- Collaborate with product and engineering to iterate quickly and ship high-quality releases.
- Improve internal developer workflows with AI-native tooling and experiments (AI coding agents, automation).
- Deploy and operate services using Docker and Kubernetes; ensure reliability and observability in production.
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of backend or AI engineering experience (strong new graduates welcome).
- Proven ability to build and ship backend systems or AI pipelines to production.
- Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI models and designing effective prompts.
- Experience with AI agents or autonomous LLM workflows.
- Proficiency with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or Firestore.
- Experience deploying with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrable curiosity (hobby LLM projects or similar) and willingness to work on-site in Munich (visa sponsorship available).
